BuildROI is an independent organisation set up to examine where the millions spent across UK construction each year are actually going — and where they're being lost. By bringing visibility and evidence to the whole process, the aim is to change how projects are delivered, so that it works for everyone involved.
The Role of BuildROI
BuildROI creates a single, continuous delivery pathway from build to final installation. It replaces uncertainty with verified evidence and protects homeowners through escrow-controlled payments.

- Evidence‑based milestone payments released only after sign‑off
- Clear responsibility chain from start to completion
- Data capture that strengthens the case for every stakeholder
A one-off ask, with a clear test
Fixing this takes money, and we are upfront about that. BuildROI is at proposal stage: no live projects have been completed, which is exactly why we are asking for a pilot.
We are asking government to fund a six-month pilot on a mixed set of up to 50 jobs, with every milestone independently verified.
What we believe comes back is less waste, fewer defects and a proven record of what works. We are not asking anyone to take our word for it. That is what the pilot is for.
One-off and funded
A six-month pilot, funded once. Anything beyond it is a separate decision, made on the evidence.
Independently judged
An evaluator chosen by government assesses the results, not BuildROI.
Stops if it doesn't work
If the evidence says no, it ends there. If it works, it grows and we all gain.
